It seems that the New Year brings all of us a convenient opportunity to set new goals and traditions.  So what are the goals of Glenwood State Bank for 2010?

First and foremost we need to make sure we don’t forget who we are and how we got here.  Glenwood State Bank must remember that it always has been and always will be the personal service we give our customers that makes us successful.  We are a community bank that has never forgotten about the community.

We will focus on making a difference in the lives of everyone we come into contact with.  This not only includes our customers, but all that live in the communities in which we serve.  I believe it is these moments of giving to others that allow a person to feel fulfilled.  As I tell others, if you have an empty spot in you, try giving to someone outside of you.

I look forward to 2010 with much excitement.  It is a challenging time to be a bank in the world today.  However, as with any challenge, there lie opportunities.  And the opportunities for Glenwood State Bank are as big as ever.  This upcoming year should allow us to continue to show how we are different, not only different from Wall Street banks, but different from all banks.  Being locally owned, family owned, and family operated really makes a difference.  We look forward to making a difference in your life.
